QuocNam first constispation experience

QuocNam had a hard time going to the bathroom in 2 days. Toi nghiep wa' QN rang nhung khg ra duoc, and kept crying for the evening. Ba gave him some prune juice and QN drank a little bit, but still couldn't go. Mom & ba had to help him out. Mom put some stool softener liquid in his bottom hole, he still couldn't go. Mom had to stick the finger in to pick the stool (sorry for the graphic pic). He then push 2 more rounds thing out. It was hard, wonder why QN had a hard time with it. We cleaned him, and he went again and again for 4 diapers and 7 round wastes. Man those were hard stool...

QuocNam is walking steady now

In about 4 weeks since his birthday, QN is walking briskly now. He used to look like a drunk when walking but not now. Last Monday, mom had to put him to daycare cuz ba Tuan had to go to the doctor. He had fun at first. At noon, the report said he was sad. Mom said that he cried since 3pm until 5pm when mom picked him up. Mom said he didn't take milk during the day (the nurse khg hieu y' qn). He was light when coming home and mom fed him milk, 1 yogurt, 1 trai cay, 1 bowl of soup. toi nghiep qn wa'

QuocNam doctor visit on Oct 21

QN visited his doctor on Oct 21. His measurements were 25 lbs in weight, 30 inches in length. He also gets 4 vacine shots a cried a little bit. QN started to take his whole milk for about 2 weeks now. Doc recommend 2% milk. QN has a little hard time to i. He acts a little funny (stand by the walker, then put his face up and down...really funny and mom likes it).

QN can walk many steps now. He's getting stronger every day.

QuocNam celebrate the First Birthday

We had a party for QN on 10/4/2008 due to 10/9 was on a Thursday. QN picked a toothpaste which I wrote down for becoming a dentist. He could have picked other colorful things but chose the toothpaste instead. We went to kidrus to do some studio pics of QN. He got some very nice poses and all with smiles. Thao's friends say he looks like me alot.

I visited QN last weekend and while playing with the remote, he dropped them when he first spotted me at the door and started to crawl toward me. Last night before going home, I stepped outside to get a soda, while QN was taking his milk, mom said he heard the door openned and dropdown to the floor and crawled out his room to see me before I left, it was so cute that he's doing all these things.

QuocNam started to take whole milk now, so it helped out alot. He growed the 2 bottom teeth, and it's cute when he laughed.

On Oct 12, we went to Minh Anh's bd (con Long Tu). I tried to hold MinhAnh, and QN kind of getting jealous. Mom held QN, and he saw me with MinhAnh, he dropped to the floor and walked toward me and pulled on my leg and cried (gia bo^.) a little bit.

QuocNam turns 11 mos

QN turns 11 months old today...He is an active kid, moving about his walker rather quickly...sometimes he drags it along too. Taking one or two steps for the most part. Oh, QN grew his 2 bottom teeth and look cute when smiling :) He tried to grab and touch daddy whenever he can and it makes me want to hold him alot...

Doctor checkup on Monday 8/5

QuocNam visit his pediatric on Monday 8/5 for his check up. He's doing fine. New measurements are: 24 lbs and 29 inches.

QN has his first blood test and it was painful. The nurse couldn't find a good vein in his arms so she pinch his fingers for blood drops. Two little bottle of blood samples were collected and QN was crying his lung out. He was so tired and slept on the way home.

QuocNam visiting Daren in CT

Quoc Nam recently began to cu.ng dda^`u and clap hands. He also lac dau when not liking something. It's kinda cute seeing him doing in. When he's in a happy mood, he laught out loud and grandpa loves to hear his voices... :)

QuocNam trip to Pittsburgh in June 2008

QuocNam went and visited the grandparents on the week of 6/23/2008. It was a long trip and we had to stop a few times. Grandpa was very happy to see the QN and he was fun to be with. He kept smiling/laughing at grandpa/grandma. Some people called him kho' chi.u but if you know how to handle him then he should be fun to be around :)

QN began to crawl and sit up during the trip. QN can sleep straight now from 10pm to 7am. He might wake up in the middle of the night, so just feed him the bottle and he'd fall right back to sleep.

QN workout

6 months olds and amazing

Quoc Nam turns 6 months old on April 9. He started to rollover on 4/5, and we love it. Once he knows how to roll, he kept doing this during his sleep. We have to keep an eye on him more often now.

QuocNam is 4 months on Feb 9

On Monday 2/11, QN visitted his pediatrics, Dr. Eric Anderson. He got 3 shots and cried a little bit. His new measurements were: weight = 16.5 lbs, length = 25 inch.
I was home the whole day taking care of QN. He slept a lot due to the vaccine.

He is turning 3 months old on Oct 9...

Yee haa...:) Mom says he smiles alot lately. Not sure what he's thinking of. Grandpa really likes him now.
