xmas present

QuocNam was happy with all the presents especially the xbox.  He got it from doing good in school and got rewarded.  He was really excited and invited william and Tony to come over the next day to play.

Thanksgiving in Philly

Father and Son was at Thanksgiving gather at Tram's new house in Philly.  Mom couldn't make it this time due to workload.

QuocNam 1st biking experience

On Memorial day weekend, QuocNam tried to learn to bike with help from Dad.  He got frustrated at first...looking down and push the pedal softly and then wobbled and stopped.  Dad told him to look straight and push the pedal hard the first one and keep going...He tried and tried and finally got it.

QuocNam graduated from Van Lang 4th grade

QuocNam graduated from Van Lang 4th grade.  He got the first place certificat and $50 gift card from Target.  Dad is proud of him

QCA Academic showcase

Visitted QCA for the Academic showcase and saw the projects that QuocNam did on display.  Was also visit the computer lab and see how he uses the computer to create a research paper.

New York trip

QuocNam and family took a trip to NY during his spring break.  Together with Mr. Khanh, Kim Hoang, Khanh Han and Trang and Vi...beautiful weather on 4/21.  We took the train from New Haven to Grand Central station and then took the subway to Chinatown.  It was a challenging time to use the new York subway, we made a few mistakes and have to comeback again, but luckily didn't loose any money.  QuocNam was kind to carry dad's backpack for a while until he got tired on the way to 9-11 memorial.

There was a big mall next to 9-11 memorial.  It was big, multiple floors.  Thao was getting tired wearing the red shoes, so she went to forever 21 to buy some sandals to walk to relieve the pain.
QuocNam and the group joined together later and had some ice cream.  We tried to eat in the mall and save time but nothing really good.  There was "The boil" near by but might take awhile to get there and wait so we decided to hop on the subway to uptown heading to Timesquare on 42nd street.

Visited Timesquare and had Japanese food and it was kind of expensive but good taste.  Tim.e Square was fun at night time with a lot of street performers.

The whole day finished and we didn't get home until 3am.   Everyone was tired but had a good time.
